Bask In The Vast Sky At Mysteryland

The affair set on the horizon is Mysteryland. Established back in 1993, it is still one of the biggest festivals in Holland today. Electronic dance genres collide and people flock to experience change and make connections.

Sophisticated attendees can find themselves displaced by the scale of what’s happening. And so do we. But once curiosity overpowers sceptical senses, we rise to the occasion and navigate through massive firework stages to creative hideouts with local underground acts.

The atmosphere embraces us like a perfect stranger without demands to only reflect desires. We bask in the vast sky and consider all of the immediate possibilities.

Hercules and Love Affair’s set is held at the Milkshake Supertoys stage. There is an influx of cross-gender fun here and a tantalizing motto, ‘You don’t have to be a girl to actually be one.’ The atmosphere is swelled with love and positive vibes.

A space for you to play and imagine.
You’ve woken up into your daydream made reality.
Beautiful people, wild ambition flicking you on the shoulder.
A gesture you can’t help but smile at.
Colours flock to your eyes and you are blinded by emotion.

Friendship is evident of our reason for being. We take a second to capture smiling faces of our good friend from The School of House. Here he is still unaware of his superhero status earned by helping us home as the festival ends.

Bollywood Bar Stage captures our hearts and allows us to dance the night away under the full moon. Red Light Radio and Friends are celebrating fine music and the bond between DJs & Crowd, which resulted in a love of another kind.

Stark and gorgeous.
You are a revolution of the time we have been in contact.
Cherished and adored, your mind is a place I’d like to explore.
Your willingness to be so free and to welcome love at a rapid speed has encourage me to love you.
I can see the pulse in your fingertips.
Please show me your face, you fiercely wild thing.

The hunger we have for each other is allayed by chocolate croissants while waiting out traffic jams. Again we share smiles and car seats.

We can’t help but want to continue the momentum of our chemistry. The day after Mysteryland we visit Red Light Radio to see our new friend Cher Monsieur play retro vinyls.

Blank slate, Kool-Aid, we’ve got news;
All the stickiness of art keeping us together like glue.
I watch you create and feel something new.

When you find a space filled with the right people and the right music and the right vibes you allow your mind to open up and embrace the frenzy of things that are happening all around you.

I’ve set myself on fire.
I can feel the roar inside my soul.
The sun is rising higher, but I don’t have to go.
I will surrender to this second, to the glow and all it knows,
I thank you and you and you and you for never letting go.
