David Lynch is curating a two day festival in Los Angeles which will take you on a journey through art in all its forms.

The festival is inspired by the quote of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi ‘Life is a festival of disruption.‘ Hence the title of the event, Festival of Disruption.

“The outer relative field of life is ever changing. Nothing can ever stop it. Established in the inner absolute unchanging field of life, we naturally enjoy our life as a dance, as a game, as a festival of change, of disruptions. But if we are unconnected, tired, stressed, small, we experience life as a nightmare, a battleground, a tragedy of unexpected and unwanted change.” — Maharishi Mahesh Yogi

The program promises art, virtual reality, screenings of rarely seen Lynch short films and classics, daily Transcendental Meditation sessions, and more. The impressive music lineup includes Robert Plant and the Sensational Space Shifters, St. Vincent, Questlove, and Rhye along with a performance of music from Twin Peaks featuring Sky Ferreira and Xiu Xiu.

The stars of Twin Peaks, Kyle MacLachlan and Laura Dern, will give talks during the festival, as will Mel Brooks, and Blondie’s Debbie Harry and Chris Stein.

Attendees will have the chance to explore the Ace Hotel in all its glory. The enchanting theatre all the way up to the impressive rooftop will be utilized to create a once in a lifetime experience.

Of course something so spectacular would be sold out, however there is a chance to win VIP behind-the-scenes access for one person plus one friend by donating $10 to the David Lynch Foundation: Only $10 for a chance to meet David Lynch and grab a cup of coffee with Kyle MacLachlan!

We're uber jealous of your luck and coordinates, happen to go? Send us your perspective!
